It's a global, US-run exchange program

The Fulbright Program is a grant and scholarship program initiated after World War II by Senator Fulbright. It ranks among the most prestigious in the world. It's quite simple: US citizens are offered substantial grants and scholarships to study or do exciting projects abroad. In exchange, citizen from the "host" countries enjoy a reciprocal opportunity: they are offered grants and scholarship to go to the US.

That's where you apply to become a Fulbrighter

The French Fulbright Commission is the French branch of the Fulbright program. So to speak, they are the official representatives of the program in France. Each country has its own branch. If you are interested in a Fulbright grant or scholarship to go to the US from France, this is who you should reach out to.

The French Chapter of Alumni

It's us! France Fulbright Alumni Association is a non-profit based in France. Our mission is to further the Fulbright experience beyond and after Fulbright grantees completed their programs. It's also to foster the Fulbright Community and brand. We operate from France and coordinate things happening here.

What is Fulbright?

YOUR TEAM

That's the Board in charge of running the French Alumni Association. We serve 3-year-long terms and are elected by all paying members of the France Fulbright Association. The latest election took place in 2021.

Being on the Board does not mean you're more important than other Alumni. You can still contribute to the Fulbright Community in very substantial ways without being the Board. If you want to serve on the Board, you can apply. You'll get access to more Association ressources, but you'll also have to do you fair share of housekeeping.
